All Jammed Up

Yesterday was the bouchon at le Blanc. This is a heritage traffic jam, celebrating (possibly the wrong word) the huge traffic snarls that bought much of France to a halt before the introduction of the Autoroutes. Here are some pictures - there will be video and other pics to follow.

We took Claudette, as Célestine is still at the dentist's.

Luckily there were plenty of Police on hand

After a while everyone just parked and had beer.

This was our sort of traffic jam - good natured, huge fun, and 150 cars worth looking at (and beer)

It looks like it turned out nice again! Sorry to miss a good do. We have a rotting roof problem but we've been in contact with Matt Softtop snd he should be able to make us a new one so long as he can source a rear window for a 1956 2CV.

Looks like a wonderful event. I would have loved to have seen all those classic cars. The beer wouldn't have hurt either.
