Claudette Maquette

Simon has been having fun playing around in Photoshop. This is a real photo of Claudette parked on the side of the road with the Auberge and Chateau of Montpoupon in the background. He's manipulated the image using a style known as maquetting so that the scene looks like it is made of models.

I can do that "in camera" using "toy" as the filter...
But why?
Nice bit of work Simon...
the artificial DoF works very well...
but now, how about cutting and pasting an 'O' or 'OO' Gauge figure into the sharp area....
that would really confuse!!

There is a "plasticizing" technique in Pottyshop that gives items in a picture a false plastic shine...
I saw some good examples a couple of years back...
and it gave the technique...
I think I favourited it, somewhere...
but which machine???

You could try on a picture of Susan....
